South Dakota will never mean the same to me again. We would go to South Dakota to see the relatives and that always was Delvin. He would never miss a time to see family. Feel the arms of Jesus surround your families. Love, Londa and Family entry posted by Pam Maat on 07-28-2010 Our sympathies to Aunt Dolly, Eileen, Marjean, Betty, Janice and their families. Praying that you will know God's presence as He strengthens you...letting go of someone you love, even when you know he is now without pain and suffering and is loving heaven, is not easy to do. Know that Jesus sees your tears and understands your pain. Delvin's quiet presence will be missed. Praying for you all...greetings from Michigan. He was a very kind person, a little ornery sometimes--but in a good way!! Once he got to know you, look out!! He was fun to work with and would do anything for anyone. May his family and friends find comfort in memories of Delvin... entry posted by Janice Hettinger on 07-26-2010 My brother waa a quiet guy with a big heart. He had many passions....hunting with his brothers in law and nephews, having a garden, bowling on his bowling league, following the local sports teams, being on the Stickney fire department, and driving the school bus.....the kids on his bus were very special to him. He loved his nieces and nephews and great neices and nephews and enjoyed playing with them and was proud of their accomplishments. He had a love for the town of Stickney and was willing to help out those who needed it and was especially a great son to my mom..........may he rest in peace. We will miss him.
